“ACM Group” completes design and estimate works on the restoration of the cultural heritage object ”Buildings of the Electric Lighting Society. 1886” on the Obvodnoy Canal Embankment in St. Petersburg. The joint project with KB “VIPS” and “URBIS” envisages restoration of historical brick buildings and their adaptation for modern use.
The buildings of the electric station started to be built in 1897 and were inaugurated on November 16, 1898. All equipment was supplied by Siemens & Galske. By 1916 the station produced more than half of the electricity consumed by the city.
