The Armageddon ultra-trail race has kicked off at the Veduchi resort.

The all-season Veduchi resort has become the starting point for the Armageddon trail race, which is vying for the title of the longest in the world.

Sixty-seven athletes are participating in the competition. Over the coming days, the athletes will cover a long route that passes through Armkhi, the Elbrus region, Arkhyz, and other "Life Bases"—specially equipped support stations along the route. The finish line will be in the Krasnodar Territory.

The organizers emphasize the high difficulty of the route: it runs through mountainous terrain and demands maximum endurance and technical preparation from the athletes.
