The developer Brusnika completed the restoration of the cultural heritage site “Fominykh House” on Rosa Luxemburg Street in Yekaterinburg. During the restoration process, the brickwork was stripped of oil paint, revealing traces of numerous rebuildings of the house since the time of its first owner, burgher Averyan Fominykh. On the facades one can distinguish masonry from different time periods, with restored sections of authentic brick. In addition, work has been carried out to restore the historic 19th century windows, the roof and staircases, and the utilities have been completely renewed.
Originally owned by the burgher Fominykh, the house was converted into communal apartments in the 1920s after the building was nationalized.
