As part of the Year of Mountain Regions and SME Development, a master plan will be developed for the Sharoi, Itum-Kalinsky, and Shatoi districts.

This plan was discussed at a meeting between Muslim Zaipullaev, Minister of Construction, Housing, Utilities, Fuel, and Energy of the Chechen Republic, and Ramazan Magomedov, Head of the Sharoi Municipal District Administration, including the implementation of measures under the master plan for mountain regions.

Work plans for the current year were also discussed at the meeting. Construction of a wastewater treatment facility is planned in the village of Khimoi in the Sharoi District of the Chechen Republic. Furthermore, proposals have been submitted to the Russian Ministry of Construction to include the creation of centralized water supply systems in five settlements of the municipality in the list of projects under the industry program.

"The document will allow for detailed development plans for each mountainous region defined by the Chechen Republic's master plan. Priority areas include ecotourism, micro-energy, transport and digital connectivity, and cultural heritage economies," noted the Chechen Republic's Ministry of Construction.

As part of the plan, this year's mosque square in the village of Kenkhi, which received the most votes in the All-Russian online voting, will be improved under the "Infrastructure for Life" national project.

The minister reiterated that, given the historical and natural heritage of the Sharoi District, one of the most picturesque corners of the republic, it is especially important to focus on developing a harmonious architectural style for the municipality.
