Welcome to the Vedeno Municipal District of the Chechen Republic. The Vedeno District is located in the south-eastern part of Chechnya. Its administrative center is the village of Vedeno. It borders on the Kurchaloevo, Nozhai-Yurtovsk, Sharoy, Shatoy and Shalinsk municipal districts and the Republic of Dagestan. Its location in the mountain zone determines the climate. It is characterized by vertical zonality, in other words, the lower the location, the more moderately continental climate. As the altitude rises, the climate becomes less continental. The economy of the district is based on industrial and agricultural enterprises. The district is rich in clay, limestone, sand, dolomite and sandstone-shell. There are also many historical, architectural and natural monuments in Vedeno District (Caucasian linden park, Lake Kezenoyam, Maiden Spit spring, etc.).

A municipal mixed martial arts (MMA) tournament was held in Vedeno at the district sports school as part of the All-Russian Sports Marathon "Power of Russia."

Young athletes in the 7-10 and 12-13 age categories participated in the competition. The winners and runners-up in their weight and age categories were awarded medals and certificates.

The event was organized at the initiative of the United Russia Party Supporters' Council as part of the People's Program. The "Power of Russia" marathon aims to promote a healthy lifestyle, develop mass physical education, and ensure equal opportunities for sports. The tournament in Vedeno marked the final stage of the project's summer sports season in the Chechen Republic.
