The Thaba-Yerdy Church has been shortlisted for the 8th Golden Trezzini International Competition.
The oldest Christian church in Russia, Thaba-Yerdy, located in mountainous Ingushetia, has become a finalist in the 8th Golden Trezzini International Competition.
This is recognition of the unique historical and cultural value of the monument and the high quality of the restoration work carried out.
The Golden Trezzini Award is given for outstanding contributions to architecture as an art form. The winners' works are added to the collections of the State Museum of the History of St. Petersburg and exhibited at the annual exhibition “Architecture as Art” in the Peter and Paul Fortress.
The results of the competition and the names of the winners will be announced on November 21.
