The dacha of Actual State Councilor Nikolai Slobodzinsky at 35 Kurortnaya Street in Zelenogorsk has been designated a regional monument.
From 1906 until almost the Revolution, the wooden dacha on the former Kelomiakskaya Street belonged to Nikolai Slobodzinsky, who dedicated his entire life to serving on the Nikolaevskaya Railway. He rose through the ranks from a simple railway engineer to the high rank of Actual State Councilor and member of the Railway Management Committee of the Ministry of Railways.
The façades feature half-timbered architectural motifs. The most striking feature of the building is the northern veranda, glazed on the first floor and decorated with a trellis mesh on the second floor.
Based on materials from the Committee for State Control, Use, and Protection of Historical and Cultural Monuments of St. Petersburg.
