Welcome to the Urus-Martan district! The Urus-Martan District is located in the foothills of the central part of Chechnya. Its administrative center is the town of Urus-Martan. The district borders on the Grozny district, the lands of the Grozny urban district, as well as the Shaly, Shatoy, Itum-Kali and Achkhoy-Martan districts. The district is rich in rivers and mixed forests, home to rare species of animals. It is also famous for cultural and historical heritage sites, such as combat and dwelling towers of various eras. The leading sector of the district's economy is agriculture. Crop, fruit, vegetable and livestock farming are developed here. There are also industrial and construction enterprises. Deposits of construction materials, including sandstone, gravel and clay raw materials, are located on the territory of the district.

In Urus-Martan, a new sports and fitness complex was opened within the framework of the federal project “Sport is the norm of life”. The head of Urus-Martan district Shamil Kutsaev took part in the opening ceremony.

The complex occupies an area of about 2 hectares. It is designed for sports events and training in a wide range of disciplines. The facility is suitable for both professional athletes and those who simply keep fit.
