During restoration work in the former main church of the Imperial Educational Society for Noble Maidens, new fragments of the mid-18th-century decoration, based on designs by Francesco Bartolomeo Rastrelli, were uncovered. Elements of oil paintings on plaster depicting the Holy Great Martyrs Catherine, Daria, Anastasia, and Aglaia were uncovered.
