The historic Vorobyov House on 31 Ostrovskogo Street in Kostroma became a cultural heritage site. Built at the very beginning of the XIX century on the funds of Colonel Skripitsyn, the house is remarkable for its facade decoration, typical for provincial architecture of that period.
At different times the building changed its owners - in 1838 it was purchased by Senator Borshchev, after which the house was transferred to the Department of Estates. In the second half of the XIX century, after the abolition of serfdom, the building housed the Yaroslavl-Kostroma Department of Agriculture and State Property. In the Soviet period, the Kostroma TB Dispensary worked here.
