On August 1st at 11:00 AM, the regional stage of the All-Russian "Land of Sports" marathon will begin at the Chikola Sports and Recreation Complex in the Irafsky District. Its holding contributes to achieving the goals and objectives of the "Sport of Russia" state program.
The marathon is part of a large-scale project of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture for the integrated development of rural areas. Its main goals are to engage rural residents and farmers in an active lifestyle, provide them with opportunities for self-fulfillment through sport, and reward achievements in this area.
Citizens living or working in rural areas and agglomerations, as well as students from universities affiliated with the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, are invited to participate.
The sports program includes: exercise, GTO (Ready for Labor and Defense) multi-event competitions, mini-football, volleyball, family relay races, and strength extreme events.
All participants will receive commemorative diplomas, and the winners will be awarded cups and medals.
