When restoring almost any object of cultural heritage in the Pskov region, researchers or contractors find various coins of the past.

The ongoing restoration work on the Lazarev Church on the territory of the Pskov-Pechersk Monastery under the project "ASM Group" also presented small surprises - several ancient coins were found - from silver "scales" of the times of Peter I to the copper penny of Nicholas II.
