According to the information provided by the respected publication “Delovoy Peterburg” there are only 84 monuments on the streets of St. Petersburg, which are owned by the city. They are summarized in 458 million rubles.
Conditionally, the monuments can be divided into groups: architects, writers, statesmen, artists and military leaders, monumental groups to historical and military events. The list, strange as it may seem, lacks not only the Bronze Horseman or the Rostral Columns, but also many other sculptural compositions and busts known to any tourist. There is no Chimney Sweep, Vodovoz or Wiper, not even Gogol's “Nose” or Chizhik-Pyzhik. Most likely, all these compositions are not on the city balance.
The city memorialized only four architects - Italian architects on Manezh Square. The bust of Antonio Rinaldi is estimated at Br409 thousand, while Rastrelli, Quarenghi and Rossi were cheaper by Br5 thousand and are estimated at Br404 thousand each.
