We thought about it and decided to put together this collection and fill in all the blank spots on the BackYard Ultra race map!

Starting in 2026, the series will include at least 5 new participating countries, adding more and more beautiful exotic countries to its collection every year!

Proposed list of countries participating in the WBU 2026 project:

January 24 - February 2 Sri Lanka

March 6 - March 10 UAE

April 31 - May 5 Armenia

October 1 - October 6 Uzbekistan

December 4 - December 8 Saudi Arabia

Why is it so important to run the Backyard in Abkhazia?

Because it is the first race where all participants who cross the starting line become members of the WBU club, enjoy priority registration for international races, and collect a 10% bonus discount for registration for the next race.

Each subsequent race has a cumulative effect, and according to the formula 10%+10%+10%+.... after ten races, the participant receives a “Gold RunPass,” a lifetime free pass to the World Backyard Ultra series races!
