The Palace of Culture of Communication Workers on Bolshaya Morskaya Street in St. Petersburg will be renovated under the state program “Development of the Cultural Sphere in St. Petersburg”. It is planned to be adapted for modern use for the St. Petersburg Opera Theater.
The Communications Center is a revealed cultural heritage object built in the 1930s according to the project of architects P.M.Grinberg and G.S.Rais. Before that, the site was occupied by a German Reformed church built in 1862-1865 according to the project by architects G.Bosse and D.Grimm.
