On March 31–April 1, the State Institute of Art Studies will host an international academic conference entitled “Compiling a Compilation.”

Main topics:

- publications of archival findings and unknown materials on the history of Russian architecture,

- issues of restoration and preservation of monuments,

- creative biographies of Russian architects and artists,

- problems of typology, iconography, and style in Russian architecture,

- regional schools in Russian architecture and monumental art and their uniqueness,

- metropolitan influences and their reflection in provincial art.
