ACM Group

The company was founded in 2003 in St. Petersburg. Originally it was a "Personal Creative Architectural Workshop", created by architects-restorers who worked in the State Hermitage. Now "ACM Group" is a company of professional restorers, operating in many cities and regions of Russia - St. Petersburg and Leningrad region, Moscow, Astrakhan, Kaliningrad, Norilsk, in the Republics of Crimea and Karelia, the Chechen Republic, the Republic of Ingushetia and the Republic of Sakha, as well as carrying out international restoration projects in Europe and the Republic of Uzbekistan. According to the company's projects, more than 160 monument buildings have been restored.

Four putti figures were returned to the facade of the Urusov mansion.

The building of the Lermontov Library at 17-19 Liteiny Prospekt was built in the Eclectic style with elements of Renaissance and Baroque. In the course of the research we found losses and distortions of architectural elements of the facades during the renovations of the Soviet period.

The main decorative element of the facade is two compositions with putti supporting cartouches. The shields in the center of the cartouches bear the coat of arms of the last owners of the mansion, Counts Musin-Pushkin.

It is interesting that after the revolution of 1917 instead of the coat of arms in the cartouches appeared a hammer and sickle, and instead of the princely crown - a five-pointed star.

The coat of arms and the crown were restored on the basis of historical heraldic images of the coat of arms of the Musin-Pushkins and the princely crown on the coats of arms of the Lubomirskys and Urusovs.

Four plaster sculptures of putti were dismantled and copies were created.
