Employees of the museum-reserve made a tour of the tower complex "Ancoate".
Ancoate is a medieval tower settlement east of Niicoate. Today it is possible to observe two three-tiered residential towers with various structural details, in particular, in one of the towers at the level of the second floor, the remains of a stone fireplace have been preserved.
Not far from the village, in the Muslim cemetery is an interesting stele with petroglyphs.
It is located within the boundaries of the Jeirakh-Assinsky Museum-Reserve. Included in the list of identified objects of cultural heritage of the republic, subject to state protection.
Based on the results of the field work, acts of the technical condition of the complex will be drawn up and sent to higher organizations.
