ACM Group continues its work to identify previously unrecorded historical structures in mountainous Ingushetia and add information about them to the Unified Electronic Database of Ingushetia's Monuments, which the company is creating with the full support of the SAFMAR Charitable Foundation. Structures that display characteristics of cultural heritage sites must also be included in the Register of Cultural Heritage Sites of Ingushetia for their legal and practical protection.
The ACM Group team has completed the identification and study of structures at the Ismail-Kov Castle Tower Complex. Eight cultural heritage sites are listed in the existing registry. ACM Group specialists have identified five additional monuments at Ismail-Kov, including the foundations of ancient buildings and one stele.
ACM Group has submitted five applications to the Committee for the Protection of Cultural Heritage Sites of Ingushetia for inclusion of the identified sites in the Registry of Newly Identified Cultural Heritage Sites of Ingushetia. We hope that within 90 working days, five more monuments will be legally designated as cultural heritage sites and will take their rightful place among other unique monuments of the Russian Federation.
