In Dzheyrakh, an area chosen for improvement by residents is being transformed.
Work on a public area along Akhrieva Lane is nearing completion. The contract stipulates that work will continue until the end of the year, but the improvements are expected to be completed ahead of schedule—by the end of September.
Currently, specialists are preparing the foundation for laying a new asphalt pavement. The project also includes the construction of a retaining wall, the installation of benches, and the improvement of a spring. The work is being carried out as part of the federal project "Creating a Comfortable Urban Environment" of the national project "Infrastructure for Life."
This is not the first site in the Dzheyrakh District to be transformed thanks to the votes of residents. Last year, a public area in the village of Furtoug, at the entrance to Dzheyrakh, was improved. It now features paving slabs, gazebos, greenery, modern lighting, and a fountain.
Residents of the republic continue to actively participate in determining improvement priorities. This year, more than 67,000 people participated in the vote. The competition resulted in the winning design projects and eight public spaces, which will be implemented in 2027.
In total, approximately 24 sites selected by residents will be improved in the republic in 2026.
