The House of architect Leonty Nikolaevich Benois on Bolshoi Prospect of Vasilievsky Island, 57/15 is recognized as an object of cultural heritage of regional significance.
The architectural and artistic design of the front facades of the building, built in 1913, is designed in the character of neoclassicism. The basement part is faced with red granite. Textured plaster is used in the decoration of the front facades. The front entrances are decorated with portals with fillets and pilasters. In the lunettes of the front entrances there are windows-lucarnas framed by stucco compositions of cartouches, plant garlands and “horns of plenty”. The building has survived without significant changes and is a rare example of late neoclassicism by Leonty Benois in St. Petersburg.
