The PSU Center for International Education celebrated Chinese New Year.
Chinese New Year, also known as Spring Festival or Lunar New Year, is one of the most important traditional holidays in China, which is celebrated on the first day of the first month of the lunar calendar, usually in late January or early February.
The Center for International Relations and the Institute of Translation, Russian Studies and Multilingualism of Pyatigorsk State University jointly held a celebration for Chinese students studying Russian at our university. The program of the event included contests testing the knowledge and speed of pronunciation of Russian cursive phrases.
At the end of the holiday, the students from China delighted everyone with a touching performance of a song in their native language!
