From May 19 to 21, the State Hermitage Museum's Staraya Derevnya Restoration and Storage Center will host the conference "Stained Glass: History, Restoration, Study, and Research."

The program includes:

- scientific research to study the monument. Issues of stained glass attribution;

- pre-restoration technological research in the conservation and restoration of stained glass;

- experience and methods of restoration and refurbishment of stained glass located outside museum collections;

- challenges and specifics of stained glass display;

- the use of modern restoration materials, traditional technologies, and the challenges of repeated stained glass restoration;

- volunteer efforts to preserve stained glass outside museum collections.
