On the eve of the New Year, measures will be strengthened in the forests of Ingushetia to protect young conifers and forest crops from illegal logging.
From December 21 to 31, forest inspectors together with law enforcement agencies will patrol the areas where coniferous trees grow daily.
The purpose of operational and preventive measures is to prevent illegal cutting of fir trees and other conifers for the New Year holidays.
During this period, a large-scale explanatory work is planned among the population on the importance of preserving coniferous forests and responsibility for unauthorized felling of trees. Employees of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Ingushetia will hold talks with residents of the republic, as well as organize open lessons on the protection of coniferous young animals in educational institutions.
It is important to remember that illegal harvesting of conifers for the New Year holidays entails both administrative and criminal liability.
If violations of forest legislation are detected, please contact: 8 (8734) 55-45-73 (Department of Federal State Forest Supervision of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Ingushetia).
