According to scholar L.P. Semenov, a ceramic tile was found in the Thaba-Yerda temple in 1901. News of the discovery was reported in the Terskie Vedomosti newspaper: "N.P. Kulchinsky donated a piece of well-baked clay bearing a perfectly preserved bas-relief depicting a palm tree, in whose shade two antelopes are feasting on fruit hanging from the tree. Inscriptions, apparently written in an ancient Georgian script, are visible beneath both antelopes, and a cross is carved above one of the antelopes. This interesting rarity was found in the Assy Gorge, in the debris of the ruins of the ancient Thaba-Yerda temple."

According to scholar K.V. Trever, "analysis of the subject matter and style of this relief, in particular the depiction of a tree flanked by chamois, allows us to associate this monument with objects originating from the territory of ancient Albania."

In 1901, the artifact was transferred to the Terek Regional Museum. In the 1950s, it was mentioned as being kept in the Ordzhonikidze Ingush Museum of Local History. Subsequently, all traces of this unique tile were lost. It is not mentioned in the State Catalog of the Museum Fund of the Russian Federation.

Perhaps the missing artifact will be rediscovered in time.
