The research work is incredibly interesting in its own right, but contact with some of the materials found is particularly thrilling.

Within the framework of archival research, ASM Group specialists received materials from A.L. Rotach, which are now stored in the Central State Archive of Literature and Art.

Alexander Lukich Rotach is an outstanding specialist architect, major researcher and practitioner in the field of restoration.

Alexander Lukich made an invaluable contribution to the preservation and restoration of architectural monuments of St. Petersburg. In the postwar period, he worked actively in the field of restoration, led restoration projects.

St. Isaac’s Cathedral, 1st Engineering Bridge, Lion’s Bridge, Stable Bridges, Red Bridge across Moika and many other architectural monuments.

However, his attention was directed not only to St. Petersburg: from his trip to the North Caucasus and, in particular, to Ingushetia, in 1938, the architect brought not only the most interesting photographs, but also drawings and sketches of medieval monuments of mountain Ingushetia and their details.
