As announced, the first skiers of the new winter season are expected to arrive at the company's resorts in November. Today, after annual maintenance work, the cable cars on Mount Elbrus opened to tourists. The installation of artificial snowmaking systems is also being completed here, and evening skiing under artificial lighting will be available by the start of the season.
This winter season will be the debut for the Ossetian resort Mamison. It is expected that another 100 accommodation places will be added to the existing 100 at the resort. All 19 km of trails will be open. The estimated tourist flow is at least 30,000 people.
Overall, the number of guests at resorts in the North Caucasus is forecast to grow by 10-15%.
In addition, Andrey Yumshanov announced new projects for Kavkaz.RF. The development institute's investment portfolio has reached 200 billion rubles. In addition to traditional agriculture and construction, it now includes high-tech processing and creative industries.
