The Elbrus All-Season Tourist and Recreational Complex (ATRC) is located in the Elbrus region of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic and has been a popular destination on Russia's tourist map for over half a century. Tens of thousands of athletes and winter sports enthusiasts from around the world flock here. They are drawn by the high-altitude observation platforms, ski slopes, snow park, hiking eco-trails, and the opportunity to climb Elbrus, the highest mountain in Russia and Europe. Elbrus boasts the highest cable car in the country, at an altitude of 3,847 meters. Its uniqueness is confirmed by the Russian Book of Records. The resort boasts a well-developed infrastructure: 19.5 km of maintained ski slopes, 7 ski lifts (including 3 modern gondola lifts), over 65 km of nature trails, and approximately 800 accommodations of varying comfort levels. The resort offers skiing opportunities even in spring and summer. The ski season continues until July, with training camps for regional and national Russian alpine skiing and freestyle teams, and all-Russian alpine skiing competitions taking place.

Over 1,000 people climbed Elbrus at sunset.

The "Sunset in the Mountains" ticket, available at the Elbrus resort every Friday and Saturday in August, has become a hit this summer: over 1,000 people purchased tickets in just six days. Its popularity is comparable to the evening skiing option, a new feature for the 2025/2026 winter.

"This is the first time the opportunity to see the high mountains in the rays of the setting sun has become available, and we've seen that evening skiing tickets have quickly become very popular among resort guests. Elbrus' cable cars will be undergoing maintenance in September, so the end of this week, August 28th and 29th, is your last chance to visit Elbrus at sunset, and we recommend you don't miss it," said Olga Kravchenko, Marketing Director of Kavkaz.RF.

Tickets for evening skiing on Elbrus are available at the resort's ticket office on Fridays and Saturdays. Tickets are valid only on the day of purchase. The ascent to the top station begins at 4:00 PM, with the last descent at 7:00 PM. During this time, resort guests will experience the "golden hour" at altitudes of 3,500 and 3,847 meters. Evening ascents are subject to weather conditions, and cable car operations are subject to change. This fare became available on August 7.

The resort also offers fares that combine the cable car ride with a visit to the high-mountain swing and alpaca park, as well as combined tickets for three resorts—Elbrus, Mamison, and Veduchi.

Advance sales of seasonal ski passes with maximum discounts are ending—until the end of August, tickets to Elbrus can be purchased with up to 35% off, and tickets to Mamison with up to 25% off. The best deal is available until the end of summer for a combined ticket for three Kavkaz.RF resorts: a season pass with a fast track, allowing access to Elbrus, Mamison, and Veduchi on any day of the season, is available at a 40% discount for 90,000 rubles.
