A digital twin project for the National Caucasus Trail was announced for the first time at MITT-2026, Russia's largest tourism and hospitality exhibition and forum, held in Moscow.

The key discussion took place at the session "A Resort of Great Meanings: How to Digitize a Territory's Cultural Code."

Representatives of the state corporation Kavkaz.RF, Khasan Timizhev, Rustam Tapayev, and Tatyana Baeva, discussed the features and capabilities of the digital twin, which will begin pilot operation this May.
