A large-scale restoration of the Petzold Brewery, a unique monument of industrial architecture of the 19th century, continues in Kazan.
The brewery, founded by German entrepreneur Ernest Petzold in 1905, was one of the largest enterprises of its time and played an important role in the development of the region. Today restorers are working on two key areas of the complex - the Glacier and the basement. They have already carried out priority anti-damage works - the old roof has been dismantled, emergency structures have been dismantled, and the historic brick walls have been reinforced.
