In Kardymovsky District, Smolensk Region, restoration work will begin on the cultural heritage site of regional significance “The manor house and outbuildings of the landowner Gauger”.
The manor house was founded in the last third of the XVII century and belonged to the gentry Novoshinsky, and from the middle of the XIX century - to the landowners Gauger, owners of the distillery. Under the Gaugers, large-scale construction began and the manor house remained in the ownership of the family until 1917. After the war, a machine and tractor station was established in the estate, and nowadays the historical building houses the Tyushinskaya secondary school.
