A presentation of the book “We Shielded Our Motherland with Our Bodies” was held in the meeting hall of the Irafsky District Local Government Administration. The event was organized in accordance with the plan to prepare for the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 in the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania.

The event was attended by the head of the Irafsky municipal district, Robert Khamikoev, the deputy head of the Irafsky District Administration, Aslanbek Gogaev, and the chairman of the Assembly of Representatives of the Irafsky municipal district, Kazbek Gutsunaev.

Among the guests of honor were Valery Getsaev, Chairman of the Council of Veterans of Vladikavkaz, RSO-A; Enver Khokhoiti, member of the Union of Writers and Union of Journalists of the Russian Federation, poet, and prose writer; and Timur Kardanov, head of the Rodina patriotic club.

The event was organized by the Iraf District Administration and the Archive Service of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania.
