Joint-Stock Company “KAVKAZ.RF” (JSC “KAVKAZ.RF”) was established in accordance with Resolution No. 833 of the Government of the Russian Federation dated October 14, 2010, to manage tourism and recreation special economic zones within the tourism cluster in the North Caucasus Federal District (the tourism cluster). Currently, the tourism cluster project managed by JSC “KAVKAZ.RF” includes six tourism and recreation special economic zones, within which projects are being implemented to create seven all-season tourism and recreation complexes and one coastal cluster.

Andrey Yumshanov, CEO of Kavkaz.RF, spoke at the plenary session of the FTT forum.

During the plenary session of the Forum of Tourist Territories (FTT) — titled "Hospitable Russia: New Territories, Routes, and Markets — Opportunities for Business and Investment" — Kavkaz.RF CEO Andrey Yumshanov presented his perspective on development trends within the Russian tourism sector.

The speaker noted that previous years saw significant growth in tourist traffic, driven by the expansion of domestic tourism, the emergence of new travel destinations, and the impact of the pandemic and sanctions-related restrictions, which shifted demand toward travel within the country. At the same time, the current slowdown in the growth rate of tourist traffic is viewed as a new challenge for the industry.
