The house of V.N. Zelenin at 3 Lesnoy Prospekt in St. Petersburg has been granted the status of a monument of regional significance.
The building was constructed in 1899 based on a design by military engineer and architect Valerian Zelenin. The front facades were built in the Art Nouveau style. From 1906 to 1909, the house was home to Nikolai Petrov, a surgeon and founder of Russian oncology, and from 1915 to 1917, it was home to Andrei Polenov, a surgeon and one of the founders of Russian neurosurgery.
