Everyone is well aware of the House of the Emir of Bukhara in St. Petersburg, on the Petrograd side.
And what do you know about the Palace of the Emir of Bukhara in Zheleznovodsk?
Last week volunteers of the Piatigorsk “Tom Soeyer Fest” carried out work on the majolica created in 1909 in the workshop of Geldwein-Vaulin in St. Petersburg, cleaned and restored the entrance portal in this palace.
As told in the social networks of the festival, the wicket was made from two sheets of iron, and the historical pattern was laser-cut. In addition, volunteers plan to create replicas of lost tiles (ceramic tiles used to cover stoves, walls and fireplaces).
The palace of the Emir of Bukhara is also being restored. They promise to complete the work at the end of October 2025.
