Three days in September 2004 were terrible for the whole country. The first call, which was drowned out by automatic queues, the Beslan school No. 1 was captured by terrorists and mined. Children, their parents, grandparents were taken hostage. The security services did everything possible and impossible: the security forces covered children with bullets. Many died and the hostages were freed at the cost of their lives.

Then, 20 years ago, a terrorist attack against children shocked the world. After the Beslan tragedy in the West, terrorists were no longer called rebels, and the terrorist underground in the North Caucasus lost the support of the last supporters and was soon destroyed.

Purpose of the first Beslan race. We remember the memory of those who died in the tragedy of 2004.

On September 15, the race will be held in Beslan.
