The Russian Museum showed the condition of the facades and roofs and began looking for a contractor to conduct comprehensive scientific research and develop project documentation for the restoration of the roof and main facade of the world-famous museum.
The main building of the Russian Museum was built in 1825 according to the project of architect Carl Rossi for Grand Duke Mikhail Pavlovich Romanov. At the end of the XIX century it was partially rebuilt according to the project of architect V. Svinyin.
