Kavkaz.RF is implementing 28 investment projects in Karachay-Cherkessia.
A meeting between Rashid Temrezov, Head of the Karachay-Cherkessia Republic, and Andrey Yumshanov, CEO of Kavkaz.RF, took place in Cherkessk.
The parties discussed the implementation of investment projects in the republic with the support of the development institute. These projects total 28 projects with a total investment of over 6 billion rubles, half of which are funded by Kavkaz.RF.
Important areas of mutual cooperation include tourism development and the agro-industrial complex. Kavkaz.RF continues its collaboration with the anchor investor of the Arkhyz resort. Currently, construction of a new ski area on the southern slope of the resort is underway with the expert support of the development institute.
The project includes six domestically produced cable cars (three gondolas and three chairlifts) over 10 km long, as well as 30 km of pistes. The entire construction project is divided into two phases: 10 km of slopes and two cable cars will be built in the first phase, and 20 km of slopes and four cable cars in the second phase.
Currently, work is underway on 44 supports for five cable cars, ski slopes, hydraulic structures, and engineering protection facilities. The planned commissioning is 2030.
Another major new project is the establishment of an orchard and the construction of a wholesale distribution center by Arkhyz-FruitLogistics. The projected production capacity is 10,000 tons of apples per year. To date, 787 million rubles have been financed by Kavkaz.RF. This represents 80% of the concessional loan received by the investor.
