The tenth anniversary of the All-Russian campaign “The Great Ethnographic Dictation” took place in Makhchask.

The event brought together residents of nearby villages, representatives of the Irafsky District Administration, the Ministry of National Relations of the Republic, and guests from Vladikavkaz.

The event began with welcoming remarks, in which officials emphasized the importance of preserving and promoting the unique ethnographic heritage of our multinational country.

For 45 minutes, participants answered 30 test questions on the culture, history, art, and everyday life of the peoples of Russia.

The Great Ethnographic Dictation project allows participants not only to test their knowledge, but also to learn something new about the traditions that have been created over centuries on the territory of our homeland.
