Yesterday, the capital of Ingushetia hosted a videoconference on the interaction between the restorers who restored the unique temple “Tkhaba Erdy” in 1969 and the restorers working today in mountainous Ingushetia. The videoconference was organized by the Committee for the Protection of Cultural Heritage Sites of the Republic, the Jeirakh-Assin Museum-Reserve and the Russian-Georgian Business Council at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation. Famous archaeologist, Professor G.G.Gambashidze, who took part in the restoration of the temple during the Soviet era, took part in the conference from the Georgian side.
As of today, the restoration of Tkhaba Erda is initiated by the SAFMAR and Vozrozhdeniye Charity Funds, and full-fledged archaeological research is planned to begin this summer with the participation of ACM Group and Ingush archaeologists.
