In Barnaul, at the corner of Socialist Avenue and Leo Tolstoy Street, restoration work continues at the cultural heritage site of regional significance, the Sukhov Merchants' Estate.
The merchant's estate, which is one of the three largest merchant complexes of the city, is being “revitalized” literally brick by brick - the walls are being rebuilt, sculptures are being restored and historical facades are being put in order.
After the large-scale restoration, a hotel and a restaurant decorated in the style of the 19th century will open here.
