A cinema in Itum-Kali will receive federal support from the Cinema Fund.
A cinema in the village of Itum-Kali in the Chechen Republic was among 141 cinemas across Russia selected by the Cinema Fund for renovation and upgrading with modern multimedia equipment.
The venue is located in the district's Community Center, which previously lacked film screening equipment. Projectors, screens, sound systems, and seating will be installed as part of the project. After renovation, the facility will retain its primary function but will become a multifunctional cinema and concert hall.
This was announced by Rasul Kurumov, Head of the State Cinematography Department of the Ministry of Culture of the Chechen Republic. The applications were prepared with the assistance of specialists from the State Cinematography Department of the Chechen Republic.
