During an inspection of the Kost Tower Complex in mountainous Ingushetia, ACM Group specialists discovered historic roof tiles bearing the maker's mark "S. Ya. Antsupov Cmn."

Sergey Yakovlevich Antsupov was produced in the village of Troitskaya in the Sunzha District of the Terek Region. Antsupov's brick and tile factory is mentioned in the Terek Calendar for 1904. According to the calendar, the factory's revenue was 300 tsarist rubles and it employed seven people. The Address Book of the Factory and Craft Industry of All Russia for 1907 also lists Antsupov's factory with eight workers.

Based on the production data, it can be assumed that the roof tiles at the factory were most likely produced only for residents of the village of Troitskaya and did not have a wide market.

The IX annual international conference "Architectural Art Ceramics: Art and Technology" will be held on October 26-27 at the Peter and Paul Fortress.

An exhibition showcasing the winning and finalist projects of the 2025 International Golden Trezzini Awards has opened in the Ioannovsky Ravelin of the Peter and Paul Fortress. The display includes several works by architects from ACM Group.

The exhibition runs until September 22.

The monument to Emperor Nicholas I was unveiled in St. Petersburg on June 25, 1859, based on the design of architect Auguste Montferrand and sculptor Peter Klodt. It was restored under a joint project by Nasledie and ACM Group.

Active restoration work is underway on the combat and residential towers, as well as the defensive walls, of the "Gagi Galash" tower complex in mountainous Ingushetia. The project is being carried out with the full support of the SAFMAR Charitable Foundation, based on a design previously approved by ACM Group.

ACM Group continues its work to identify previously unrecorded historical structures in the mountainous region of Ingushetia and to enter information about them into the Unified Electronic Database of Ingushetia’s Monuments—a project being developed by the company with the full support of the SAFMAR Charitable Foundation. Structures exhibiting characteristics of cultural heritage sites must also be entered into the Register of Cultural Heritage Sites of Ingushetia to ensure their legal and physical protection.

The ACM Group team has completed the identification and study of structures at the Targim tower complex. While the existing register lists 26 cultural heritage sites, ACM Group specialists identified an additional 155 monuments at Targim, including towers, crypts, ruined structures, and 86 stelae.

ACM Group has submitted 155 applications to the Committee for the Protection of Cultural Heritage Sites, requesting the inclusion of these newly identified structures in the Register of Newly Identified Cultural Heritage Sites of Ingushetia. We hope that, within 90 working days, these 155 monuments will officially gain cultural heritage status and take their rightful place among the Russian Federation's other unique monuments.

The Menshikov Palace, a federal cultural heritage site at 15 Universitetskaya Embankment in St. Petersburg, is a landmark of federal significance.

Construction of the palace began in May 1710, designed by architect Giovanni Maria Fontana, who was replaced in 1713 by Gottfried Johann Schedel, "master of chambers and plaster." By 1714, most of the construction work was completed, but interior decoration continued until 1727, despite the fact that His Holiness the Prince had already been exiled to Berezov.

The palace's reconstruction to accommodate the needs of the Cadet Corps was carried out in the second half of the 18th century, according to designs by architects Ivan Starov, Vasily Bazhenov, and Yuri Felten. During the reconstruction, the appearance of the facade was significantly altered, and the interiors were redesigned, but the unique chambers, consisting of four rooms and decorated during the reign of Peter the Great, were preserved.

Extensive restoration work, restoring the palace to its original appearance during the reign of Peter the Great, was carried out during the Soviet era and completed in the 1980s, with the direct participation of the architects who later founded ACM.

The restoration of the princely crowns and flowerpots to the palace's main façade occurred in the 2000s, under a project by ACM Group.

On September 10, in the conference hall of the St. Petersburg Law Institute on Gavanskaya Street, 3, a round table will be held, organized by the Russian Association of Restorers and the Scientific and Practical Competence Center "Heritage and Law", dedicated to discussing the tasks of adjusting legislation on cultural heritage objects, aimed at preventing the risk of negative consequences when restructuring the system of their preservation.

On September 24, the "PRO Restoration" exhibition, organized by the Moscow Government and the Russian Association of Restorers, will open in Moscow. During the exhibition, ACM Group specialists will participate in a discussion on the use of modern brick in restoration, as well as a professional talk entitled "Heritage Preservation: Family Traditions and Mentoring."

ACM Group submitted 83 applications to the Committee for the Protection of Cultural Heritage Sites of Ingushetia for inclusion of newly identified sites in the Register of Newly Identified Cultural Heritage Sites of Ingushetia. We hope that within 90 working days, another 83 monuments will be legally designated as cultural heritage sites and will take their rightful place among other unique monuments of the Russian Federation.

The Russian Association of Restorers is preparing for the 2nd Russian-Chinese Restoration Symposium, which will be held in Russia in 2027.

The Chinese partners have announced the following topics for discussion:

- Concepts and systems for assessing and preserving historical and cultural treasures in China and Russia,

- Preservation and restoration of stone cultural treasures,

- Preservation and restoration of frescoes,

- Standardization of cultural heritage protection,

- Monitoring or managing World Heritage,

- Application of science and technology in cultural heritage protection.

Restoration work continues at the Vovnushki Tower Complex in mountainous Ingushetia. Following the installation of scaffolding and the clearing of the rock foundation, active restoration of the unique stone towers is underway, in accordance with permission issued by the Ingushetia Committee for the Protection of Cultural Heritage Sites.

The work is being carried out at the initiative and with the full support of the SAFMAR Charitable Foundation, following a previously approved project by ACM Group.

In recent days, there has been intense discussion in Ingushetia about the dilapidated state and the necessary assistance for the unique structures of the Shiengar-gIal (Tower of Two Women) Tower Complex.

On August 12, the Ingushetia Committee for the Protection of Cultural Heritage Sites issued Order No. 33, adding the unique crypt and stone stele of the Tower of Two Women to the Register of Identified Cultural Heritage Sites. While statements from ACM Group certainly played a legal role, it's fair to note that the most important emotional impact was fueled by the constant appeals from people interested in their architecture and culture, the latest of which was an appeal from Ingush women to the republic's authorities asking for the tower complex to be saved. The pressing situation demanded a response and action from relevant officials. Adding the crypt and stele to the Register is absolutely necessary, and reports that a restoration project is already underway are also reliable and accurate. It should be noted that the development of restoration projects, as well as the inclusion of the sites in the Register, is currently taking place almost exclusively thanks to the initiative of the SAFMAR Foundation.

All the sites of the "Towers of Two Wives" tower complex are in the Register (only because the complex is very small in terms of the number of sites, and, most importantly, is already somewhat controversial), and the restoration project will naturally be completed by the end of the year thanks to the initiative and funding from the SAFMAR Foundation. However, it appears the appeals to the Committee for the Protection of Cultural Heritage Sites will not end – one of the most active regional public organizations in Ingushetia has already drafted and submitted new requirements for the preservation of Ingushetia's unique architecture to the Committee.

The Russian Association of Restorers sent an official letter to Mr. Medinsky, Aide to the President of the Russian Federation, expressing its disagreement with Federal Laws No. 180-FZ of June 10, 2026, and No. 262-FZ of July 26, 2026.

The Association rightly believes that these laws are inconsistent with the goals and objectives of cultural and national policy, as well as the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation, and their entry into force should be suspended. According to scholar L.P. Semenov, a ceramic tile was found in the Thaba-Yerda temple in 1901. News of the discovery was reported in the Terskie Vedomosti newspaper: "N.P. Kulchinsky donated a piece of well-baked clay bearing a perfectly preserved bas-relief depicting a palm tree, in whose shade two antelopes are feasting on fruit hanging from the tree. Inscriptions, apparently written in an ancient Georgian script, are visible beneath both antelopes, and a cross is carved above one of the antelopes. This interesting rarity was found in the Assy Gorge, in the debris of the ruins of the ancient Thaba-Yerda temple."

According to scholar K.V. Trever, "analysis of the subject matter and style of this relief, in particular the depiction of a tree flanked by chamois, allows us to associate this monument with objects originating from the territory of ancient Albania."

In 1901, the artifact was transferred to the Terek Regional Museum. In the 1950s, it was mentioned as being kept in the Ordzhonikidze Ingush Museum of Local History. Subsequently, all traces of this unique tile were lost. It is not mentioned in the State Catalog of the Museum Fund of the Russian Federation.

Perhaps the missing artifact will be rediscovered in time.

ASCM Group is embarking on a comprehensive scientific research project to restore and refurbish the 1874 Water Tower in Kursk.

The brick tower was erected as part of the construction of a municipal water supply system in Kursk. The City Duma signed a contract with the Water Supply and Gas Lighting Company, which stipulated that the tower be built on the highest point in the city, with the "bottom of the reservoir being one and a half arshins above the ground." The tower also served as a fire alarm tower.

After the fire department closed in 1935, the tower fell into disuse. In 1989, it was designated a cultural heritage site of regional significance.

The court has ordered the owner to restore the cultural heritage site "Kokorev Mansion" in Pushkin within three years. If the owner fails to meet the deadline, they will be required to pay a monthly fine until they comply with the court's decision. Restoration work on the monument has been stalled for over five years.

The stone house, built in 1859, was purchased in the early 20th century by first-guild merchant Alexander Kokorev. At the time of his move, he suffered from leprosy and lived in the mansion alone. At various times, the building was used as a hospital, a bomb shelter, and a campus for the agricultural university. Kokorev also installed a stuffed elephant in the courtyard of the mansion.

The Cathedral of the Holy Image of the Savior in the Winter Palace is the house church of the Russian imperial family, located in the Winter Palace in St. Petersburg, the main residence of the Russian emperors. The church is one of the few buildings in which, after the fire of 1837, the architect V.P. Stasov recreated the original Rococo interiors in 1839, designed by Francesco Bartolomeo Rastrelli, the creator of the fourth Winter Palace.

The restoration project for the Great Church, however, was developed by ACM architects in the early 21st century.
