In recent days, there has been intense discussion in Ingushetia about the dilapidated state and the necessary assistance for the unique structures of the Shiengar-gIal (Tower of Two Women) Tower Complex.

On August 12, the Ingushetia Committee for the Protection of Cultural Heritage Sites issued Order No. 33, adding the unique crypt and stone stele of the Tower of Two Women to the Register of Identified Cultural Heritage Sites. While statements from ACM Group certainly played a legal role, it's fair to note that the most important emotional impact was fueled by the constant appeals from people interested in their architecture and culture, the latest of which was an appeal from Ingush women to the republic's authorities asking for the tower complex to be saved. The pressing situation demanded a response and action from relevant officials. Adding the crypt and stele to the Register is absolutely necessary, and reports that a restoration project is already underway are also reliable and accurate. It should be noted that the development of restoration projects, as well as the inclusion of the sites in the Register, is currently taking place almost exclusively thanks to the initiative of the SAFMAR Foundation.

All the sites of the "Towers of Two Wives" tower complex are in the Register (only because the complex is very small in terms of the number of sites, and, most importantly, is already somewhat controversial), and the restoration project will naturally be completed by the end of the year thanks to the initiative and funding from the SAFMAR Foundation. However, it appears the appeals to the Committee for the Protection of Cultural Heritage Sites will not end – one of the most active regional public organizations in Ingushetia has already drafted and submitted new requirements for the preservation of Ingushetia's unique architecture to the Committee.

The Russian Association of Restorers sent an official letter to Mr. Medinsky, Aide to the President of the Russian Federation, expressing its disagreement with Federal Laws No. 180-FZ of June 10, 2026, and No. 262-FZ of July 26, 2026.

The Association rightly believes that these laws are inconsistent with the goals and objectives of cultural and national policy, as well as the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation, and their entry into force should be suspended. ACM Group, as a long-standing member of the Association, fully supports every point and paragraph of the letter and also hopes for common sense.

The Association's letter is the first official document expressing the professional community's opinion on the changes being imposed on the industry.

Yesterday, the esteemed commission officially handed over and accepted the federal cultural heritage site "Lazarevskaya Church" on the grounds of the Pskov-Pechersky Monastery.

The highly complex restoration work on the ASM Group project has been fully completed and accepted by all project participants without objections or comments.

According to scholar L.P. Semenov, a ceramic tile was found in the Thaba-Yerda temple in 1901. News of the discovery was reported in the Terskie Vedomosti newspaper: "N.P. Kulchinsky donated a piece of well-baked clay bearing a perfectly preserved bas-relief depicting a palm tree, in whose shade two antelopes are feasting on fruit hanging from the tree. Inscriptions, apparently written in an ancient Georgian script, are visible beneath both antelopes, and a cross is carved above one of the antelopes. This interesting rarity was found in the Assy Gorge, in the debris of the ruins of the ancient Thaba-Yerda temple."

According to scholar K.V. Trever, "analysis of the subject matter and style of this relief, in particular the depiction of a tree flanked by chamois, allows us to associate this monument with objects originating from the territory of ancient Albania."

In 1901, the artifact was transferred to the Terek Regional Museum. In the 1950s, it was mentioned as being kept in the Ordzhonikidze Ingush Museum of Local History. Subsequently, all traces of this unique tile were lost. It is not mentioned in the State Catalog of the Museum Fund of the Russian Federation.

Perhaps the missing artifact will be rediscovered in time.

ASCM Group is embarking on a comprehensive scientific research project to restore and refurbish the 1874 Water Tower in Kursk.

The brick tower was erected as part of the construction of a municipal water supply system in Kursk. The City Duma signed a contract with the Water Supply and Gas Lighting Company, which stipulated that the tower be built on the highest point in the city, with the "bottom of the reservoir being one and a half arshins above the ground." The tower also served as a fire alarm tower.

After the fire department closed in 1935, the tower fell into disuse. In 1989, it was designated a cultural heritage site of regional significance.

The court has ordered the owner to restore the cultural heritage site "Kokorev Mansion" in Pushkin within three years. If the owner fails to meet the deadline, they will be required to pay a monthly fine until they comply with the court's decision. Restoration work on the monument has been stalled for over five years.

The stone house, built in 1859, was purchased in the early 20th century by first-guild merchant Alexander Kokorev. At the time of his move, he suffered from leprosy and lived in the mansion alone. At various times, the building was used as a hospital, a bomb shelter, and a campus for the agricultural university. Kokorev also installed a stuffed elephant in the courtyard of the mansion.

The Cathedral of the Holy Image of the Savior in the Winter Palace is the house church of the Russian imperial family, located in the Winter Palace in St. Petersburg, the main residence of the Russian emperors. The church is one of the few buildings in which, after the fire of 1837, the architect V.P. Stasov recreated the original Rococo interiors in 1839, designed by Francesco Bartolomeo Rastrelli, the creator of the fourth Winter Palace.

The restoration project for the Great Church, however, was developed by ACM architects in the early 21st century.

The ACM Group team has completed its work identifying and studying the structures at the Gyagi Gyalash Tower Complex. The existing register contains 11 cultural heritage sites. ASM Group specialists have identified an additional nine monuments at Gyagi Gyalash, including crypts and three steles located in the forest near the Assa River.

ACM Group submitted nine applications to the Committee for the Protection of Cultural Heritage Sites for inclusion of newly identified sites in the Register of Newly Identified Cultural Heritage Sites of Ingushetia. We hope that within 90 working days, nine more sites will be legally designated and will take their rightful place among other unique monuments of the Russian Federation.

The first samples of ceramic roof tiles intended for the roof of the federal cultural heritage site "Tkhaba Yerdy Temple" in mountainous Ingushetia have been delivered to the ACM Group project office. The samples were recreated based on the exact dimensions of previously discovered fragments of historic tiles found near the temple during archaeological excavations. Furthermore, a historical inscription, also found on the fragments, has been recreated on the back of the tiles.

Restoration work on three towers of the Doshkhakle Tower Complex in mountainous Ingushetia was recently completed.

The ACM Group team has completed the identification and study of structures at the Doshkhakle Tower Complex. The existing register contains 24 cultural heritage sites. ACM Group specialists have identified an additional 58 historical monuments at Doshkhakle, including crypts and 54 steles.

We hope that within 90 working days, another 58 sites will be legally designated and will take their rightful place among other unique monuments of the Russian Federation.

What's happening now with the Thaba Yerdy Temple, a federal cultural heritage site in mountainous Ingushetia?

The latest stage of archaeological work has long since been completed, the rains in the mountains have stopped, and yet there's been no movement. It's all very simple, though: someone, for some reason, is simply unwilling to take the first step.

We inform you that "ASM Group" has already sent official letters of notification to the Committee for the Protection of Cultural Heritage Sites of Ingushetia more than 10 times (August 20, 2025, September 5, 2025, December 8, 2025, December 11, 2025, December 15, 2025, January 21, 2026, April 27, 2026, April 29, 2026, May 14, 2026, July 13, 2026 and July 23, 2026) about local deterioration of the church condition - fragmentary collapse of tiles, cracked plaster beacons installed in 2025. Not a single response from the Committee to our letters has been received, not a single movement of the Committee towards the church has been noticed. We can discuss at length what and how to do with the church, we can discuss at length that it's time to convene some kind of scientific council on the church, but until relevant officials begin at least monitoring the condition of cultural heritage sites, nothing will happen to protect and save them.

Article 11 of Federal Law No. 73-FZ of May 25, 2002 - State control (supervision) over the condition, maintenance, preservation, use, promotion, and protection of cultural heritage sites is the RESPONSIBILITY OF THE HERITAGE PROTECTION AUTHORITY!

The Committee for State Control, Use, and Protection of Historical and Cultural Monuments of St. Petersburg reviewed and approved the Scientific Restoration Report for the restoration of the regional cultural heritage site "Tsarevich Nikolai City Orphanage" at 29, 8th Line, Vasilievsky Island.

It is time to assemble the commission and officially accept the site according to the previously approved design by ACM Group.

The Ingushetia Committee for the Protection of Cultural Heritage Sites reviewed and approved the Scientific Restoration Report on the restoration work completed at the Keli Tower Complex in mountainous Ingushetia. The time has come to assemble the committee and officially accept the restoration of the site, which was fully restored with the support of the SAFMAR Charitable Foundation under a project by ACM Group.

The authors help students master data analytics and become familiar with the key principles of developing restoration documentation. The material presented in this publication provides a theoretical foundation for a more detailed study of research issues related to cultural heritage sites.

In the coming days, work will begin to identify all historical sites at the Kerbi Tower Complex in mountainous Ingushetia. The ASM Group team will mark every site, from the battle tower to the smallest stele, fly drones over the entire area, scan each site with modern equipment, and enter all the information into the Unified Electronic Database of Monuments of Mountainous Ingushetia, which is being created at the initiative of the SAFMAR Charitable Foundation.
