The ACM Group team has completed its work on studying and identifying buildings and steles at the Salgi Tower Complex. The existing Register contains 20 cultural heritage sites, including towers and farm buildings. ACM Group specialists have identified 88 more historical monuments at Salgi that have the characteristics of cultural heritage sites, including unique towers and steles.

ACM Group has sent 88 applications to the Committee for the Protection of Cultural Heritage Sites of Ingushetia to include the identified sites in the Register of newly identified cultural heritage sites of Ingushetia. We hope that within 90 working days, another 88 objects will legally become identified cultural heritage sites of the Russian Federation and take their rightful place among other unique monuments of the country. ACM Group is ready to provide all additional assistance necessary to legally protect the unique buildings and steles of the Salgi Tower Complex.

Construction continues on a new cottage community in the village of Syargi in the Leningrad Region, based on a design by ACM Group. Ten different individual cottages will be located in a picturesque setting with complete infrastructure.

The sphinxes from the Egyptian Bridge on the Fontanka River in St. Petersburg were sent for restoration again today. The last such work was carried out just two years ago, and during this time the sphinxes have been under the close attention of specialists from the Museum of Urban Sculpture. The restoration will be carried out under the contractor's warranty.

The prototype sphinx figures were originally cast in the 19th century at the Berd factory. At the beginning of the 20th century, they were purchased by merchant Galaktionov and installed at his home on Mozhaiskaya Street.

Rostov-on-Don will host the 2026 Architectural Heritage Festival. The relevant agreement was signed recently during the 17th Forum of Architects of Southern Russia and the North Caucasus.

This week, architects from ACM Group inspected the historic and later buildings of Vladimirsky Passage and the shopping center and Dostoevsky Hotel located there.

The historic building was designed by renowned Finnish architect Carl Allar Schulman, provincial architect of Vyborg, for Baron Ivan Viktorovich von Besser. Von Besser was an actual state councilor, a hereditary nobleman, an employee of His Imperial Majesty's Own Chancellery, and a member of the Labor Assistance Board. Before the revolution, the building housed the reception room of the imperial chancellery, a house of labor for educated women, and residential premises on the upper floors.

Ahead lies a comprehensive reconstruction and restoration of the entire building. We will tell you more about this ambitious project later.

On October 10, the autumn market “Majorelle Garden. Yves Saint Laurent Villa” will open at the Myasnikov Mansion at 45 Vosstaniya Street. For three days, the mansion, restored under the ACM project, will become a Moroccan garden in the heart of St. Petersburg.

The 19th-century mansion will come alive with oriental aesthetics: Moorish patterns, rich colors ranging from vibrant indigo to scarlet, and the elegance of Art Deco.

“We were enchanted by this oasis, where Matisse's colors blend with the colors of nature,” Saint Laurent recalled of his walks in the Majorelle Garden and Morocco.

The atmosphere will be complemented by an exhibition of paintings from the SegodnyaZavtra art space, where art nouveau meets oriental ornamentation.

Large-scale restoration work is continuing at the Ivangorod Fortress, which will see the Proviant and Vorotnaya towers renovated. These towers survived the Great Patriotic War, when the other towers were blown up by retreating German troops.

Work on the Proviant Tower is nearing completion, while restoration of the Gate Tower is just beginning. A distinctive feature of these towers are the traps preserved in the walls - wells covered by drawbridges. Such fortification elements, which have no analogues in Russia, suggest the influence of Italian masters on the architecture of the fortress.

It should be recalled that ASM previously developed restoration projects for the large and small powder magazines of the Ivangorod Fortress.

The renovated exhibition “Cuba's Historical Heritage Through the Eyes of Contemporary Students and Professionals” opened in the exhibition hall of the Faculty of Architecture at St. Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering and will run until November 16.

In addition to previously presented materials on the work of the famous Cuban historian and restorer Eusebio Leal Spengler, the exhibition includes graphic works created by students of St. Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering.

The exhibition was one of the first steps in the implementation of the Memorandum between the Committee for State Control, Use and Protection of Historical and Cultural Monuments of St. Petersburg and the National Council for Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Cuba as part of the Days of St. Petersburg held in Cuba.

This week, a decision was made to move the unique Petrovskaya Aquatoria model to the Gostiny Dvor premises. The entire relocation process will be completed in 2026. The model, to which the architects of ACM Group devoted so much effort and time, will find a new prestigious home.

ACM Group is completing design work for the restoration of the main building of Moscow State University on Vorobyovy Gory.

Archaeological research has begun at the Thaba-Yerdy Temple, a cultural heritage site of federal significance in mountainous Ingushetia. On the second day of excavations, the team of archaeologists already discovered unique historical artifacts.

Work is nearing completion on the reconstruction of the stone parts of the gate to Priory Park. By the end of this year, the gate to the historic Gatchina Park should be installed according to the ACM Group project.

On October 23 and 24, ACM Group will participate in the XXIII Forum of Strategists 2025. The main theme of the forum is “Cities with Special Status: Balancing Cultural Heritage Preservation and Development.” The forum will discuss issues related to the regulation of urban planning legislation and legislation in the field of cultural heritage protection, providing for individualized approaches and legislative norms for historical settlements of federal significance.

On October 17, the State Institute of Art Studies will host an open discussion on the topic: “Income-generating buildings of the 19th and early 20th centuries in Russia. Urban environment. Heritage. Problems. Prospects.”

The focus will be on historic apartment buildings in St. Petersburg, Moscow, and other cities, which at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries defined the appearance and spatial structure of Russia's industrial centers. However, today their elegant facades often conceal gloomy stairwells and communal apartments, which have replaced the once luxurious flats.

ACM Group is considering participating in the restoration and adaptation project for the Museum of Moscow, located in the historic buildings of the former Proviant warehouses on Zubovsky Boulevard in Moscow. The museum includes branches: the Museum of Archaeology of Moscow, the Museum of the History of Lefortovo, the Museum of the Garden Ring, the Museum of Zelenograd, the Gilyarovsky Center, and the N.A. Dobrolyubov Library.

The warehouse complex was built in 1835 according to a design by architects V. Stasov and F. Shestakov. The warehouses were intended for storing food for the military units stationed in the Khamovnichesky, Spassky, and Lefortovsky barracks. In the early 1930s, the warehouses were transferred to the motor depot of the General Staff of the Workers' and Peasants' Red Army. In 2009, the Moscow government donated the Proviant Warehouses to the Museum of Moscow.
