Translator's Day 2026 was celebrated at the PSU Institute of Translation Studies, Russian Studies, and Multilingualism.
The event was a true journey into the world of languages, cultures, and, of course, student life. Dances, videos, theater productions, and student performances took the stage, demonstrating the multifaceted nature of the translator profession.
A special moment of the celebration was the presentation of student ID cards to first-year students by Irina Borisovna Fedotova, Director of the PSU Institute of Translation Studies, Russian Studies, and Multilingualism. For the students, this was a symbolic beginning of a new chapter—they are now officially part of the extended university family.
The dedication ceremony concluded with the student oath. The first-year students promised not to be afraid of new knowledge, to be active, to participate in university life, to not give in to complex terms, and to proudly bear the title of students of the Institute of Translation, Russian Studies, and Multilingualism.
