The second international forum on sustainable development of mountainous regions began on October 1 in the capital of Dagestan.

One of the key events of the forum will be an open meeting of the Working Group on Legal Regulation of the Development and Preservation of Mountainous Regions in Russia. The group was created under the Commission of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation on the Development of the Agro-Industrial Complex and Rural Areas.

The head of the Dzhayrakhsky Municipal District, Ahmed Lyanov, is participating in the forum.

A Mountain Hospitality Center will open in the Jayrakh district next year.

The project is being implemented with the support of Rosmolodezh as part of the national project “Youth and Children” and the competition “Region for Young People.”

The site will be located at an altitude of over 1,000 meters above sea level and will become a venue for master classes on national cuisine, crafts, and open lectures.

The center aims to bring young people together, provide opportunities for self-realization, and attract tourists.

Work is underway in the Jayrakh District of Ingushetia to prepare the power grid infrastructure for the winter period.

The Ingushenergo branch of Rosseti North Caucasus is implementing a set of technical measures costing over 3 million rubles. This will improve the reliability of electricity supply for more than 3,300 residents and 30 social facilities in the mountainous area.

Given the harsh climatic conditions of the highlands, specialists are applying modern solutions: outdated wires on power lines are being replaced with self-supporting insulated wires with a length of more than 5 km.

Damaged poles have already been replaced, clearings have been cleared, and transformer substations have been repaired. These measures will minimize emergencies and ensure the smooth operation of the region's energy system.

Work continues on upgrading the power line in the villages of Jayrakh and Armkhi.

The modernization of the network is driven by the need to improve the quality of electricity and ensure connectivity for new consumers.

Today marks the 32nd anniversary of the establishment of the Jeyrakh District.

In 1993, the decree on its creation was signed by the first president of Ingushetia, Ruslan Aushev, and since then this day has become a significant page in the history of the republic.

The Thaba-Yerdy Church has been shortlisted for the 8th Golden Trezzini International Competition.

The oldest Christian church in Russia, Thaba-Yerdy, located in mountainous Ingushetia, has become a finalist in the 8th Golden Trezzini International Competition.

This is recognition of the unique historical and cultural value of the monument and the high quality of the restoration work carried out.

The Golden Trezzini Award is given for outstanding contributions to architecture as an art form. The winners' works are added to the collections of the State Museum of the History of St. Petersburg and exhibited at the annual exhibition “Architecture as Art” in the Peter and Paul Fortress.

The results of the competition and the names of the winners will be announced on November 21.

A fire involving dry vegetation was reported in the Jayrakh district, in an area adjacent to the forest reserve.

Firefighting forces from the Sunzha and Nazran forest fire centers, forestry departments, and gamekeepers were called in to extinguish the fire.

A total of about 150 people and 20 pieces of specialized equipment are involved in the work.

The program “Formation of a Modern Urban Environment in the Republic of Ingushetia for 2018–2030” aims to improve the quality of life of the population and preserve the uniqueness of the region. One of the key projects is the improvement of Lyanova Street near the Furtoug border post.

The work includes laying durable and aesthetic paving slabs, installing comfortable gazebos for relaxation, landscaping the area with trees and shrubs, and installing modern street lighting. These measures create comfortable conditions for walking and contribute to raising the level of environmental awareness among local residents and tourists.

Thanks to this project, the street is acquiring a new look, becoming attractive and safe at any time of the day, which contributes to the development of tourist infrastructure and improves the overall impression of visiting Ingushetia.

The fire was successfully extinguished thanks to the coordinated efforts of residents, rescuers, the administration, employees of the Erzi Nature Reserve, and representatives of the Ministry of Natural Resources and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the republic.

Young artists read heartfelt poems, sang touching songs about their mothers, gave their mothers gifts, and expressed their sincere gratitude.

A discussion dedicated to World AIDS Day was held at the House of Culture in the village of Lyazhgi. It was organized by methodologist R. U. Izmailova.

The purpose of the event was to raise awareness among residents about HIV/AIDS, discuss ways the virus is transmitted and preventive measures, dispel common myths, and reduce the stigma surrounding people living with HIV.

During the presentation, participants: learned about the history of World AIDS Day; were introduced to the main symbol of the campaign — the red ribbon (which symbolizes compassion, support, and hope for the future); received information about what HIV and AIDS are, how the virus is transmitted, and what precautions help reduce the risks; received information sheets with key information about the disease, its symptoms, and prevention.
