The grand opening of the third building of the Social and Health Center for Elderly Citizens and People with Disabilities—the Veterans' Home—was held in the rural settlement of Surkhakhi.
The event was attended by the Governor of the region, Makhmud-Ali Kalimatov; Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Ingushetia, Khadzhibekir Mutaliev; Minister of Construction of the Republic of Ingushetia, Musa Iliev; and the Director of the Veterans' Home, Ruslan Nalgiev.
Following the completion of the modernization, the facility's capacity has reached 140 beds, which will expand the provision of social and rehabilitation services to senior citizens, people with disabilities, and other categories of social service recipients.
Tatyana Golikova, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, and Olga Batalina, First Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation, participated in the ceremony via videoconference.
Today, the Veterans' Home is a modern complex equipped with the necessary infrastructure for comfortable living, medical care, rehabilitation, and leisure activities.
