Russian Senators Mikail Ilezov and Belan Khamchiev visited the Sunzha District on a working visit.

Together with Anzor Markhiyev, Head of the Administration of the Head and Government of Ingushetia, Isa Tatiyev, Head of the District, and representatives of relevant ministries and local administrations, they inspected the state of social and public infrastructure.

In Alkhasty, they inspected a kindergarten. Residents of the village had inquired about constructing a new building or overhauling the existing one. Therefore, they discussed the condition of the facility and possible solutions on-site.

In Nesterovsky, they visited School No. 1, which is under construction. Among other things, they discussed the situation with the land next to the school and the possibility of building a sports ground there. The sidewalk and pedestrian crossing were also discussed.

Safety issues were also discussed. The markings and lighting of the pedestrian crossing near the sports and recreation center need to be improved, as well as the road between Alkhasty and Nesterovsky.

These field visits allow us to address residents' concerns on-site. Work in these areas is being carried out, in part, as part of the "People's Program," which was developed with input from residents.

Concrete decisions will be made on all the issues identified in the near future.

A cleanup event was held in the village of Alkhasty.

An environmental cleanup event was held in the rural settlement of Alkhasty. Teams from the local Community Center and the village administration participated in the cleanup.

Particular attention was paid to the sports complex, a magnet for young people and active lifestyle enthusiasts. Participants cleaned the complex and surrounding areas: they collected household waste, dry leaves and branches, whitewashed trees, and tidied up pedestrian paths and green spaces.

According to Zaretkhan Bokova, Director of the Alkhasty Community Center, the goal of the event was to clean up and improve the appearance of socially significant facilities used daily by village residents. The event fostered unity among cultural workers and local government officials and also transformed public spaces.

Renovations to the Community Center continue in the village of Troitskoye.

Large-scale renovations to the Community Center in the rural settlement of Troitskoye, Ingushetia, are ongoing. The facility is approximately 80% complete: the heating system has been updated, ventilation and video surveillance systems have been installed, and the walls and floors have been repaired.

During the inspection, a number of additional tasks were identified, including landscaping the area around the extension and replacing the roof. Once completed, the facility should become a modern space for cultural events, clubs, and children's activities.

Modernization of cultural institutions in rural communities has significant social significance, contributing to the preservation of traditions and the development of rural areas.

Mobile medical examinations were conducted in settlements of the Sunzha District.

Specialists from the Sunzha Central District Hospital organized mobile preventive examinations in the city of Sunzha, as well as in the rural settlements of Berd-Yurt and Arshty. The examinations were conducted using a mobile medical unit.

During the examinations, previously undiagnosed health conditions were identified in a number of residents, including cases of elevated blood sugar and hypertension. Patients were referred to an endocrinologist and a general practitioner for further evaluation and treatment.

Particular attention was paid to residents with limited mobility and those unable to be transported: doctors visited them at home, examined them, and provided recommendations for further evaluation and treatment. Some patients were recommended mobile consultations with a cardiologist and endocrinologist.

The mobile examinations are aimed at early detection of pathologies and reducing the risk of developing chronic diseases, as well as increasing access to medical care for the population.

Comprehensive improvement work on Suvorov Street in Sunzha has been completed.

The renovation of this section addressed one of the most pressing issues for residents: flooding during heavy rainfall.

As part of the project, specialists replaced approximately 400 meters of dilapidated water pipes, installed a stormwater drainage system, a sidewalk, and a new road surface.

The renovated section of road is approximately 600 meters long. Previously, due to the lack of effective drainage, rainwater accumulated on the roadway and adjacent areas. This was the primary focus of the improvement project.

The work on Suvorov Street was carried out in stages: first, the utility lines were upgraded, then the drainage system, sidewalk, and road surface were installed.

Now the street not only has a renovated road but also the necessary utility infrastructure, which should make the area safer and more comfortable for residents.

A chess and checkers blitz tournament was held at the Sunzhensky District Community Center to celebrate Russian National Flag Day. Fifteen participants participated.

The event was opened by Khavash Albakov, Deputy Chairman of the District Council of Deputies. As part of the program, Salamkhan Timerkeyev, head of the "School of Chess" club, presented a presentation on "The Age of Chess and Checkers," describing the history and rules of the games.

According to the results of the chess tournament, Malika Timerkeyeva took first place, Mukhamad Eldiev took second, and Suleiman Timerkeyev took third. Mukhamad Tebov won the checkers tournament, while Khusen Muskhadzhiev took silver and Khalid Khashiyev took bronze.

A sports and fitness center (SFC) with a swimming pool is planned for construction in the rural settlement of Nesterovskoye in the Sunzhensky District of Ingushetia. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2027.

The designated site provides ample space not only for a modern sports complex but also for landscaping the surrounding area and organizing outdoor sports activities.

The SFC will become a key social infrastructure facility for the district and a major attraction for young people. The complex will include a swimming pool and multi-purpose halls, allowing residents to enjoy swimming, team sports, and martial arts.

The construction of the SFC will help address the lack of healthy leisure activities in rural areas: teenagers will have a comfortable space for active recreation and regular exercise, while swimming lessons from professional coaches will promote health and water safety.

The Sunzha District House of Culture was recognized as the best House of Culture in Ingushetia based on the results of the annual competition of cultural and leisure institutions for 2026.

The institution received state financial support for the implementation of new projects and further development.

A key focus of the Sunzha District House of Culture is the preservation of national traditions. It is home to the only School of Ingush Adats in the republic, focused on the development of the native language, customs, and distinctive culture. Among the group's significant achievements is a theatrical production of an ancient Ingush rite of passage into manhood.

This victory is the result of the institution's comprehensive efforts: engagement with youth, preservation of historical heritage, and a high level of performing skills.

A teacher from Troitskoye will participate in the 6th Class Teachers' Forum.

From September 30 to October 2, 2026, the 6th Class Teachers' Forum will be held in Moscow at the National Center "Russia." Participants include four representatives of the education system of the Republic of Ingushetia, including Sakhrat Nakostoeva, a teacher at School No. 2 in the rural settlement of Troitskoye (Sunzhensky District).

This will be Sakhrat Nakostoeva's third participation in the forum: she previously attended the event in 2023 and 2024, and became an ambassador in 2026.

This year, 700 class teachers and curators of secondary vocational education groups were selected from more than 43,000 applications from across the country. At the forum, teachers will have the opportunity to exchange experiences, discuss current educational issues, and establish professional contacts.

Construction of a 120-child boarding school continues in Galashki.

Ingush Minister of Construction Musa Iliev inspected the construction progress. The facility has been under construction since January 2025.

Currently, construction workers are completing the building's exterior cladding, roofing, and window installation. Electrical work, ventilation, heating, water supply, sewerage, and low-voltage systems are underway inside. Landscaping of the surrounding area has also begun.

During the inspection, the minister discussed with contractor representatives the work schedule, the quality of construction materials, and the completion date.

The new specialized boarding school will accommodate children from various districts of the republic, create additional jobs, and become an important social infrastructure facility for the Sunzhensky District.

Construction is scheduled for completion this year. The contractor confirmed that the work is on schedule.

Work to protect the Sunzha River from illegal discharges continues.

The city administration conducts regular inspections to detect unauthorized wastewater discharges into the Sunzha River.

Specialists conducted their latest inspections on Suvorov and Rosa Luxemburg Streets. Residents of homes located near the river were given leaflets with information on water protection regulations and penalties for violations.

Previous inspections revealed 47 cases of illegal discharges, including 19 cases of direct sewage discharges. The reports have been submitted to the competent authorities, and some residents have already begun rectifying the violations.

Efforts to improve the river's health continue. Construction of a treatment facility near Engels Street is planned for the future, which will reduce the load on the river.

Construction of a new bridge continues in Sunzha.

The new structure will improve transport accessibility and ensure safe travel for residents of adjacent areas. Mayor Aslan Umarov inspected the work.

To date, the contractor has completed the preparatory stage: the concrete foundation has been laid, which will serve as the foundation for the future bridge's piers.

Customers will soon begin installing the piers, followed by the construction of the superstructure and the monolithic section of the structure.

The next stages will include installing a drainage system, reinforcing the slopes, and constructing the roadway and pedestrian sidewalks on both sides of the bridge. After the main work is complete, barriers will be installed and road markings will be applied.

According to the design, the new bridge will be 50 meters long and 12 meters wide. The new structure will ensure safe and comfortable movement of vehicles and pedestrians at any time of year. Construction is scheduled to be completed and the bridge commissioned by the end of the year.

New coastal protection projects are being implemented on the Sunzha River.

Mikail Miziev, the regional Minister of Ecology, presented projects for protecting the banks of the Sunzha River at a working meeting with Maxim Korolkov, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment of Russia.

The first section is the rural settlement of Troitskoye, starting from the bridge on Chkalov Street. The coastal protection structures, approximately 1.9 km long on both banks, are designed to protect 141 homes and approximately 770 people.

The second section is the city of Sunzha, on Krupskoy Street. The project includes approximately 1.85 km of coastal protection to protect 84 residential buildings, a boarding school with 230 children on a 24-hour basis, and a kindergarten.

The need for the work was confirmed by a commission survey involving relevant agencies and appeals from local residents. The design documentation has passed state expert review, and the cost estimate is currently being updated.

The riverbed cleanup in the village of Yandara, where work is ahead of schedule, was also discussed separately.

"The community has been asking for riverbank reinforcement for years, and our goal is to translate these requests into concrete results," noted Mikhail Miziev.

A modern 2.5-kilometer-long road is being constructed in Sunzha as part of the "Infrastructure for Life" national project.

The Ministry of Roads of the Republic of Ingushetia is carrying out a series of construction projects on a new road aimed at improving the city's transportation infrastructure.

Currently, specialists are preparing the base for the asphalt concrete pavement: grading and leveling the soil using graders, compacting the roadway, installing curbs, and installing a pedestrian sidewalk.

The project includes the construction of six public transportation stops, which will improve the convenience and accessibility of routes for residents.

In addition to the roadway, the project includes the installation of a pedestrian sidewalk. Engelsa Street and the surrounding area are actively developing and being developed, increasing the significance of the work being carried out.

Completion of construction and installation work is scheduled for the end of this year.

Renovation work has begun at the Family Recreation Park in Sunzha.

Specialists have begun the first phase of landscaping the public space. Outdated park infrastructure elements—benches, trash cans, and other structures that have been in use for many years—are currently being dismantled.

This work was previously impossible due to legal proceedings. After completing the necessary legal procedures, it became possible to begin a comprehensive renovation of the park.

At the same time, the fencing along Bogatyreva Street is being replaced.

Once all work is completed, the Family Recreation Park will become a more modern, comfortable, and convenient place for walks and recreation for residents and visitors.

For the campers at School No. 7 in Sunzha, the staff of the National Library of the Republic of Ingushetia prepared a rich program combining literature, cinema, and useful knowledge.

The children learned about the works of Alexander Volkov, author of the famous series of books about the Magic Land. A book exhibition was specially organized for the writer's 135th anniversary, followed by a quiz on his works. The most active participants eagerly answered questions and reminisced about their favorite fairy tale characters.

The meeting continued with a screening of the film "Return to Oz," which left the children thrilled and in high spirits.

Special attention was paid to safety issues. Specialists from the Legal Information Center spoke with the children about the dangers of drugs and the importance of a responsible attitude toward their health, and distributed informational leaflets.

In the Sunzha and Malgobek districts, specialists conducted a survey of cereal crops.

Representatives of the Rosselkhoztsentr branch in the Ingushetia region and the regional Ministry of Agriculture participated in the field visit. The main objective of the survey was to assess the condition of agricultural crops and determine the necessary measures to preserve future harvests.

During the survey, specialists assessed the condition of the crops and conducted phytosanitary monitoring for pests and signs of plant diseases.

Following the survey, agricultural producers were given recommendations on crop protection and the implementation of necessary agricultural practices. This work enables the timely identification of potential risks and the implementation of measures to improve the efficiency of agricultural production.

Improvements to public spaces in Sunzha continue as part of the federal project "Creating a Comfortable Urban Environment" of the national project "Infrastructure for Life."

Oskanova Street is the latest site to be renovated. A 200-meter stretch of the roadway has been widened, new asphalt has been laid, curbs and modern street lighting have been installed, and a parking area has been developed.

These improvements have made traffic more comfortable and safe, and the additional parking lane will reduce the likelihood of congestion in one of the city's busiest areas.

The project also includes landscaping of the surrounding area. Perennial red-leaf maples have been planted along the street, complementing the updated appearance of one of the city's central thoroughfares.

It is worth noting that in 2026, as part of the national project "Infrastructure for Life," 24 public spaces in various municipalities of the region are planned for improvement.

The second stage of improvement of the Memory and Glory Park continues in Sunzha.

The implementation of the project started in April in accordance with the objectives of the people's program. The contractor has completed the laying of pedestrian paths from paving slabs, and is now preparing the foundation for landscaping with the laying of black soil.

The park will have new alleys, gazebos and lighting: a memorial stele, six benches, five gazebos and 16 street lamps will be installed. In total, it is planned to improve 4,500 sq. m of territory, of which 800 sq. m are already occupied by paving slabs.

The first stage of work was completed in September last year, the updated part of the park has become a popular place for recreation and walking for residents. The current stage is a continuation of the formed public space.

All work is planned to be completed by the end of June.

An ethnographic exhibition “New time - old traditions: Ingushetia” opened in Sunzha.

The Exhibition Gallery presents an exhibition that includes works of art, archival materials and objects reflecting the historical and cultural heritage and modern development of Ingushetia.

The exhibition will run until August 28.

A new educational center will be built in the village of Galashki on the site of an old school building.

Russian Senator from Ingushetia, Mikhail Ilezov, along with village elders, regional ministers, and the village administration, visited the construction site in Galashki, where a modern educational center is planned to replace the existing school.

The old school served several generations of residents for nearly 65 years, and the parents and grandparents of today's schoolchildren studied within its walls. A new three-story school with 200 students, 11 classrooms, modern classrooms, and all necessary infrastructure will be built on this site.

Project details were discussed with residents and specialists at the site, including convenient access to the building, the facility's location on the site, and compliance with building and sanitary regulations. Special attention was paid to the safety and comfortable conditions for children, teachers, and village residents.

The construction of this school was not initially included in the current plans, but following residents' appeals and the support of the Head of Ingushetia, Makhmud-Ali Kalimatov, the issue was successfully considered at the federal level. As a result, this school and three other schools in the region were included in the priority plan.

Students are expected to move into the new building on September 1, 2028, and begin the school year in modern conditions.
