Keli is a castle-type tower complex on the spur of Tsei Loam Mountain. It includes already dilapidated combat, semi-combat and 8 residential tower buildings, which together with the stone defensive wall make up a single castle complex of the late Middle Ages. The battle tower, located in the center of the castle, in terms of almost square, had five floors, a stepped-pyramidal roof and reached 23 meters in height. Residential towers have a rectangular base, had 2-4 floors, a flat roof and a high parapet.
Within the complex there are several necropolises of various types, including underground, semi-underground and terrestrial solar burial grounds. Of particular interest is the extensive late medieval necropolis of stone boxes, reaching in places three tiers. It was discovered in 1987-1988 during the laying of the road. As a result, more than 500 different types of burials with the richest funerary equipment were studied here. Not far from them stood a badly damaged large four-pointed stone cross. Graves date from the XIII-XV centuries. At the same time, within the complex were built two groups of cyclopean buildings, composed of huge, fitted to each other stone blocks and boulders.
Around the above-mentioned stone-box necropolis, under huge boulders, 21 semi-underground collective crypt tombs of the late Middle Ages are located.
The Keli Tower Complex is part of the Dzhirakh-Assin State Historical, Architectural and Natural Museum-Reserve and is an identified object of cultural heritage protected by the state.
